Aqui Aca was born from a simple observation: despite all the educational technology out there, teachers were still using paper, pencil, or cumbersome spreadsheets to take attendance. Why? Because existing software was either too complicated, too expensive, or simply didn't work the way teachers needed it to.
We started by talking to dozens of teachers and school administrators about their attendance challenges. What we heard consistently was that they wanted something simple that stayed out of the way — not one more thing to manage.
We worked closely with Red Bridge School in San Francisco to develop and refine Aqui Aca. Their teachers and administrators provided invaluable feedback that shaped the product from day one, ensuring it actually solved real problems faced in classrooms.
The result is Aqui Aca — attendance software built with real teachers' needs at the center of every decision we make. We're constantly evolving the platform based on feedback from the educators who use it every day.
